My water microphone is a major factor in the success of my classes. Several of my students wear hearing aids, which they can now remove before getting into the pool. When people can hear my directions, they get a much better workout, they have fun and they try never to miss class. This adds up to a very dynamic water program for our Fitness Center.

Using the mic protects my throat and vocal chords and eliminates stress. It is fun to teach with the water mic. I am always grateful to our Fitness Center for providing such an outstanding cutting edge piece of equipment.

Yes, I am a music freak! I am always in search of the perfect music to create the perfect class. If you want the music to sound perfect you need the perfect sound system. I have finally found the perfect sound system! I started using the Special Projects Aqua Buddy system in the winter of 2006. The Buddy is an all inclusive sound system with CD player and wireless waterproof microphone. The microphone is simply the best I have ever used! The entire system is the size of a medium suitcase and even rolls around like a suitcase. With a Texas-sized sound, it can perform in huge aquatic facilities. What more could you ask for? Well, how about something a little smaller for normal sized facilities? How about pitch control? Ask and you shall receive! Special Projects introduced the Aqua Brat in winter 2007. Small enough to fit in a case that can be carried on your shoulder, pitch control, CD player and a water proof wireless microphone - the Brat is destined to replace boom boxes and aged sound systems in pool facilities. When I use the Brat in my workshops, aquatic directors immediately say "I must have one of those!"
